La Dame Macaron

OMD! Two of my favourite pastries combined into one!! I’m super excited that Paul chose to open its flagship US store in Washington DC. Take that New York! Though the rumours are intensifying that you’re getting a LaDurée so don’t feel too bad… But I digress, back to La Dame Macaron.

For Easter this year, Paul is treating its French customers to a beautifully dressed lady, a delightful update on the traditional religieuse pastry, with a macaron in lieu of the top tier. Religieuse are in essence eclairs, just presented differently and I am loving this sweet version! Too bad it won’t be available at Paul USA. *le sigh*
